BI-TORQ Valve Automation is a division of AVK Carbo-Bond, a family-owned business serving industrial, commercial and municipal accounts since 1981. Our experience with a wide variety of valve and actuator manufacturers gives us a strong knowledge of the industry, while our product depth allows us to provide valve automation components for virtually any application. Our experienced technical sales staff, designers and long-time employees will ensure that we will provide the right product for your application.

Since our inception in 1995, BI-TORQ Valve Automation has seen a tremendous expansion of our operations. While providing customized mounting kits over the years, we had long seen the need to provide our many loyal customers with options to complete their valve automation packages. When Dave Marut joined AVK Carbo-Bond in 1995, we formed our new division that supplies complete automated valve products. We started with the introduction of our BI-TORQ rack and pinion pneumatic actuator and soon after began to offer the InstruPak, a direct mount automated valve package that includes brass, stainless steel, carbon steel, and thermoplastic ball valves. Over the years, we added other products like cost-effective butterfly valves, electric actuators, limit switches, proximity sensors, positioners, fusible link assemblies and gear operators. Along with the diversity of customized mounting kits, tee linkages and extensions we manufacture through our parent company, we are proud to call ourselves a true single source valve automation supplier that can make your job easier. Our seasoned technical sales staff, dedicated assemblers, and the rest of our crew will ensure a positive experience.

New Building

In February of 2003, our new 10,000 square foot facility was completed, giving us nearly 25,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing space. While our manufacturing remained in our old building (left), all of BI-TORQ's operations and assembly areas were moved to the new building.
