Our latest innovation with the FL fusible link series allows an operator to automatically trigger an armed fusible link through a low voltage signal. When voltage is sent to the link through a PLC or a switching mechanism, the link will yield and the valve will close. This enables plant personnel to immediately shut down pipelines with flammable media even if a fire has started in another area. The electro-thermal link is available on most AVK Carbo-Bond/BI-TORQ fusible link assemblies.
